Academy of Communication, Art, and Design

We will start accepting applications for the 2026-2027 school year from December 1, 2025 until January 16, 2026.

Students, regardless of zoned or unzoned, must fill out the application using the google form here before or by January 16, 2026. Students must get their recommendation forms completed. See below for more information. Students not zoned to Viera High School can apply through ELO on the district website here.

ELO applications must be completed through Focus.

Required Information

​

1. Must be zoned for Viera High School or (for non-zoned) complete the ELO application on the BPS Site

2. Brevard Public Schools issued student I.D. number

3. Contact Information: Physical + Mailing Address, Phone Numbers, Emails. (both students and parents)

4. One Short Essay Response (150 words minimum): Why do you want to join the Academy for Communication, Art + Design?

 

Required Supplemental Information

1. Students regardless of zoned or non-zoned who wish to apply, must fill out the application and submit it before or by January 16, 2026.

2. Please provide three (3) letters of recommendation. At least two recommendations should be from current teachers. Click Here for the recommendation form.

 

Selections are made through a lottery process. Students that are chosen will be notified via email.
