How to Apply to the Academy...
Zoned for Viera
We will start accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year from January 8, 2024 until February 23, 2024.

If Viera is your zoned school, you need to the following: submit the application and request recommendation forms.

Please complete and submit the application through the Google Form on or before February 23, 2024.

Students will also need to ask 2 of their current teachers and 1 community leader (coach, pastor, etc.) to complete the google recommendation form.

No paper copies of applications or recommendation forms will be accepted.

Not Zoned for Viera
If you are not zoned for Viera and your home high school is another school in the district, you will have to submit two applications. The first application is the VHS ABF Application. Please complete and submit the application through the Google Form below on or before February 23, 2024.
Students will also need to ask 2 of their current teachers and 1 community leader (coach, pastor, etc.) to complete the google recommendation form.
Next, is the EPO BPS application. You will need to make an account on the district dashboard. You are applying for the Career Academy Choice program. Proof of residency will be verified before accepted into the application lottery and again at the time of acceptance into the program. In addition, verification of proof of residence will be required at the registration of classes by all students in the program.

There is a $30 application fee for all students not zoned for Viera.
